New in: Asos pumps

Sorry for the constant crappy pictures lately, but when I wanted to make this picture, my camera was empty. Sooooo that meant Instagram again.
Anyhow, I got these gorgeous yellow pumps in the mail yesterday. I was eyeing them for a while and when Asos said they were low on stock, I couldn't resist anymore and I hit the pay now button. Now I just need that cute crochet bustier top I've also been eyeing to create the perfect outfit with these babies. Ok, I also still need to make the skirt. No biggie.

On another note, I've been having a huge shoecraving and I can't make up my mind. I've seen these great pair of pumps from Topshop, but I can't decide which colour I like best, so could you all please be a lamb and help me out? I'm not even sure if I'm going to get them, but if I will, I would like to know which of the two I like more.

Today's look in detail

I know, I know, it isn't a decent outfit post. But hey, this was the best I could do for today. It's been pouring all day long and when I walked the dog I pretty much couldn't stay dry. This is supposed to be spring?! What the F. I can't wait for warmer weather. Anyhow, I do have a little more time to finish this skirt I started working on yesterday. It's from a beautiful floral silk and I can't wait to wear it with a black cropped top. BEST TREND THIS SUMMER! Yes, I had to write that in capitals, so you can feel my enthusiasm. I love to show a bit of bare midriff. Best part of my body, if I say so.
On another note, I posted my application for fashion school today! It took me a while to write a good motivation letter, but I managed to pull it of. I'm so relieved. Keep your fingers crossed for me I can sleep without worries now (and that I'm not going to buy loads of shoes now. Big big big shoe craving...)!

Floral headband

So for many years I've liked headbands. About 2 years ago I've stopped wearing them, but never stopped liking them. So when I ran into this one I absolutely loved it, but didn't get it right away. Because of the shipping costs I thought it would be too expensive for only a headband. But I couldn't get it out of my head and I got it anyway. This one is from Rouge Pony. They've got many more floral headbands like these. They're all so dreamy. I can imagine myself running around at Lowlands wearing this floral thing and keeping my hands on my head, because I would be afraid to lose it.

Today's outfit in detail

Since I still haven't found the time to make outfit shots, I decided to post these detail pictures I made this afternoon just for the hell of it. I made them with instagram and the light wasn't all that, so they're a bit overly edited. Maybe I can make some decent outfit shots this weekend, but I'm not promising anything, since I'm too bloody lazy for anything at the moment! Going out and partying 2 days in a row the past weekend wasn't perhaps that clever. Though it was fun... Plus my head is making overtime at night and that causes a lack of sleep. Anyhow, if I'm going to write more I'll start rambling and we wouldn't want that. So good night.

Instagram // life

Sorry for my sudden absence lately. Life has been a bit hectic. Had some awful news that made me feel bad for a couple of days and a week later I had a tonsil infection. Almost had to go to the hospital because of that. I lied in bed for a week. Now I'm better and back in the running. So here are some pictures I made over the past (2) month.

New Zara boots. I love them!/The new Elle with a gorgeous Prada dress on the cover. I've got a great knock off from Romwe!

A bit vague, but this is my favourite jacket at the moment. It's from Asos and looks great with so many things.

A jacket I made from an old blouse. I've added the leather fabric and customized the inside to who I am.

We've also had some amazing weather a few weeks ago. I've got the first Dutch Vogue and read it in the sun while listening to some music.

Tried to made a sort of egg roll, but with spinach and feta cheese. It didn't really turned out as planned. How did I know that I had to use filo pastry instead of puff pastry? Anyhow, it did tasted good//My Dahlia collar with little pearls and Topshop mint green blouse.

One of the best parties from the last time. Steve Aoki was fantastic!

And as last, I've been to The Efteling last wednesday. Had a lovely day with my boyfriend.
