Let's burn everything to the ground

Next week monday I'm going on holiday to Italy! For about a week and a half. So you can still send in your favorite outfit! Come on people, I need more favorite outfits! ;) So please, send it to my email adres: winkelholic@hotmail.com. If you don't know where I'm talking about here click here then. I prolly will have internet when I'm on holiday so I think I can post the top 10 then.

I got a bit more used to my hair now. Still don't like it, but my hairdresser will have to do a service in return! He has to do my models hair for when I have to show my final collection in my last year of school! And he also has to arrange the make up! He said it was a good deal, haha.

Last friday I went to the opening of the ILV Temporary Boutique! It was in Amsterdam at the Herenstraat 18. The store will stay there for about 3 months. I went there with boyfriend and we really had some fun. There was a fashionshow and an opera singer and live music! The store looked great and there were also some nice vintage dresses, bags, shoes and all other kind of accessories. I bought 4 things. A hat (already posted that one), a dress, a necklace and a bow for in my hair. I even drank some rose. I never drink alcohol. I must say, I didn't liked it.

And yesterday evening my mom and her partner had a party, but I was feeling really down and I was already a lot alone the past weeks, so my mom stayed at home with me. How nice of her! We bought some things in the supermarket like: popcorn, applepie, applecider and doritos! We had more, but we didn't ate that. We watched the movie Funnyface with Audrey Hepburn. I adore that movie! If you haven't seen it, go watch it!

This outfit was from last week thursday, when I went to the hairdresser. When my hair was still longer, grrrr...

Some old and new purchases part 5

I think that this is the last part. Not sure though. Have to see how many things there are that I haven't showed yet. But first I'll start with a dress!

Please don't pay attention to the fact that the dress is shapeless. I'm going to wear it with a waistbelt and then it looks really good! I think I don't even need to say where I got it from. But for the ones who don't know it, I got it from Ilovevintage.nl

Another bow! Me and my bows. Can't get enough of them. I bought it last friday in the ILV Temporary Boutique in Amsterdam.

Got this hat from my grandmother. I've been looking for a hat like this for ages already! Finally got one. Thanks grandma!

Sorry that the pictures are bit vague, but the sun was pretty annoying when I took them. Bought this also in the ILV Temporary Boutique in Amsterdam last friday. I really love it! It gives me a bit of a school uniform idea. Especially with the collar.

A new necklace! I rarely buy necklaces actually. Also from the ILV Temporary Boutique! My mom calls it 'the key to my heart'. Pretty lame, huh?

So I'm finally showing my selfmade dress. It was my intention to make this dress last december for christmas, but I was pretty darn sick. So now I made it last may for this christmas! It's still several months away, but it doesn't hurt to have my christmas dress ready.

Another selfmade dress. I made this one last month. But I don't really know if I like it or not...
So those were my purchases! Don't have anything more to show.

Some pictures I absolutely love

Some new and old purchases part 4

Before I show my purchases I want to say that there isn't going to be an outfit today. Don't want to wear anything, except for one dress, every shoe hurts my feet and my mom came up with the ridiculous idea to cycle to this store with bikinis. First I hate cycling, at least at this moment. Second, it's to warm to cycle and my third point is that I hate bikini's. Oh, there is also a fourth point. I freaking hate it to wear a bikini, because I hate my legs.

I'm sorry, but the warmth doesn't do me good. And also the fact that every shoe freaking hurts my feet. And that I hate my hair. Getting very, very moody of it. Thank god I bought a cute new hat yesterday that I can wear.
So here are my purchases.

Some flat shoes for Italy again. Wore the black ones yesterday when I went to Amsterdam. Got some really bad blisters from them... Good thing I also brought an other pair of shoes.

Again a dress. How surprising. Have to make the armholes a bit more roomier, because they're too small to be comfortable. From Ilovevintage.nl. You couldn't gues that, could you?

So, so short...

Went to the hairdresser yesterday... To get rit of my roots and some dead ends. Wanted it a bit shorter, because of the weather. Just on my shoulders. Now it's fucking above my shoulders. Even the front is shorter than I wanted and said. And I HATE it. Yesterday evening I couldn't stop crying about it. I cried for about an hour. And now today. I just awoke, thought 'where's my hair?!', remembered what happend to it and I start to cry again. The last time I cried about my hair like this is already way more than a year ago. And my hair was sometimes too short the past 13 months. Just consider how short it is than. I can't wear a high ponytail anymore, because of the back and it reminds me of a dogs tail that has been amputated. And then on a dog who looks way more nice with a long tail and it looks onnatural with such a stump. That's how it feels and looks. And when I'm at home in the morning and evening, I just want to wear a ponytail, because I like it that way and it's easy. I feel so damn horrible now. And I know there are more worse things than too short hair, but to me it's really really worse. Now I have to wait about 5 months again till I have the hairstyle that I wanted, while yesterday morning I still had to wait about 1 month and maybe even shorter.

Is there something real that's behind the mask?

Oh man, I love summer breaks! Even though I don't have my official summer break yet, I was the whole last week free! Last wednesday I went to the Hermitage with my dad and Jeanette (very good friend of the family). Museum with clothes, accessories and paintings from the Russian Czar. I've saw dresses and uniforms from 1850 to 1917. It was gorgeous. All those fabrics, beats and handwork. I would go crazy if I had to sew all those thousand of beats on a dress! When we went back to the car, there was this green little piece of paper under those.. Oh man, how do you call those things? Forgot the name in Dutch and English. I'll try to explain it. Those black things that makes sure you can look through your window when it's training! Well, underneath that thing the green little piece of paper was sort of stuck. So first my dad thought it was an apoligie note, because someone damaged his car. But it wasn't. It was a cellphone number from some guy. The note says: 'For your daughter, from M.', with his cellphone number. When we saw it Jeanette and I couldn't stop laughing! But my dad didn't though it was funny, haha.

Evi made these photos last week sunday, so not yesterday, but the week before it. These photos were made in her little village Halle.

I must admit, yes even I thought it, that when the first time I saw this dress in real life, it was a grandma dress. But I do see potential in it. I'm going to alter and shorten it and I'm sure it's nog going to be grandma-ish! I actually can't call it grandma-ish, because my grandmother walks with freaking army pants! And for I forget, this dress is like many others also from Ilovevintage.nl

I got this dress at the beginning of May. The evening I got it, I shortened immediatly, because I wanted to wear it the next day to my internship. Also from Ilovevintage.nl. Who got an addiction? Me? No, you're such a joker! Caugh, caugh.

Got this headband last week saturday with Evi at the H&M Divided!

2 skirts, yet again from Ilovevintage.nl. Needed those pretty bad. My other black selfmade skirts is frequently in the laundry, because I wear it pretty often... And sometimes I just don't want to wear a pleated skirt.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
And a blouse to wear it with them! I'm sorry that I have to say, but it's also from Ilovevintage.nl. Already getting sick of me and my addiction?

I bet you are getting sick of me and my addiction! Because another lovely ( to my opinion) purchase from Ilovevintage.nl. I must say that the dress doesn't look so good like this. It's way more cute when I'm wearing it!

Still more to come! Also because I got two new pairs of shoes last saturday, when I was in Amsterdam.

Just a little idea

So I had this little idea. I was wondering if you lovely readers wanted to make a photo of your favorite outfit and send it to me! I'll pick out about 10 of them I like the most (if I get so many photos though..) and I'll post them here. Then I'll let you all vote! I will post the winner here with some questions. I won't let my personal taste have any influence on it.

So I really hope many of you will send me a photo of you in your favorite outfit to my email!! Please do it, because I'm so curious! I mean, you look at me and my style, but from some of you I have no idea how you look and what your favorite outfit is. So again, please, send it to my email: winkelholic@hotmail.com.

P.S. Yes, I know I sound desperate, but that's just me when I'm really curious! x]
