Finally finished my schoolproject and new shoes

Just one more big busy day and most of the stress will be gone. Just finished the blazer for school that made me cry so so bad the past days. So glad that pressure is gone! I will be finishing some other little things for my technique class and after that I will have 5 days to finish 2 other assignments. Happy me!

Since I got a lot of questions if I could show some things that I've made for school, I've decided to show this blazer. But just so you know, it isn't my design or in my size. It's really too big for me. And I'm so proud of the collar! I did a great job on that if I say so myself!

And because my dad wanted to cheer me up he said this to me: 'I've seen in a film that when a woman is sad, food doesn't work, because that makes you fat. Shopping for clothes doesn't work, because you think nothing looks good on you, but shoes! Shoes on the contrary always look good on you, even when you're feeling down. So let's go shoeshopping!'.
Seriously, my dad is the best in the whole wide world! He knows how ladies work, haha. And me!

Quick post. Still need to shower and than I'll be off to bed. I just wanted to say that I've had a great day with great persons. Plus I've been 'mountain climbing'. Not a good idea in moccasins. They were pretty sandy at the end... I've also made a bunch of photo's of my favourite things right now. Especially jewellery.

Way too happy this evening

Even though this is the third evening on a row that I'm working on school. Just needed to make photo's. Got several compliments on this outfit today odd enough. I thought that it was too dark. Even some guy whistled at me!
And what do you think of my new cardigan and watch? Got it last Friday and I'm very happy with both of them. Got the watch from my mom, because she always thought I needed one. Never had that same thought, until I saw this one. Love at first watch. Ok, I'm sorry, bad joke.
Oh well, need to work further. Have a pleasant evening!

Finally a new outfit again

So it's been hot today and the past 2 days. Though a half an hour ago it still rained. It was 30 degrees around 1 O'clock. Now it's around 22 degrees.
Today I grabbed my chance and wore this Dahlia playsuit without tights and without a cardigan. Just a vest I already have for 3 years. I must admit that I've doubted about making photo's, because of my bare legs. I'm not a girl with sticks as legs. They're 'curvy' and I have a big love/hate affair with them. I rarely see blogs with girls who have 'curvy' legs. I know Karla from Karla's Closet, but I still think she's rather thin. In some way I just want to make a little 'statement' that it's okay not to have really thin legs and you shouldn't be ashamed for them. Though I keep need to say that to myself. I'm the one who keeps forgetting it, haha!
(A little note, I've been working out the past weeks to get slimmer legs, so I am doing something about it ;) )

I got spoiled this week...

I got surprised 2 times this week by 2 people I love dearly.
Last Monday when I was at my grandparents my grandfather gave me this gold necklace with a green stone. It belonged to his mother when he was young and he wanted to give it to me! I'm so happy with it. See how beautiful it is!

And yesterday evening I got another surprise. Niels (complicated story) was here and he got me something. I thought something small. But it wasn't. It really wasn't. I think I was even a bit speechless at one point... But it's one of the prettiest things I own.
