Through the golden leaves

My fall holiday is over and it's back to school now. The only sentence that comes up to mind with that thought is 'I don't want to!!'. Furthermore my holiday was fun. Went to the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven with some school pals and baked two cakes a few days after with one of them. Red velvet cake and Victoria cake. Both absolutely delicious! If you never tried one (both) of them, you really should. Went to the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam with zhe boyfriend and got myself Lula Magazine for the first time.

Anyhow, this is my outfit from a few weeks ago, but made the pictures later, because I didn't had the time sooner. I absolutely love this Asos jacquard skirt combined with a jumper. I added the blouse underneath, because of the studs on the collar and cuffs. The owl necklace, that I got from my boyfriend, just goes well with pretty much everything.

First time in fall // Nothing About Sam

First time I'm working with the new blogger and it pisses me off big time! Geez, you can't even edit the size of the pictures normally.
Anyhow, hello, good to be back again. School is nice, but woah, what a work! I sure underestimated it. So when I do have time off, I don't really want to run around with a camera and make outfit shots. But my vacation started Friday, so I thought it would be a good start to begin it with some fall shots. Also because I finally got a new lens for my birthday! It's amazing, the only thing I have to do is edit the colours a bit and they're good to go. I've got some spare time on my hands all of a sudden.
Also, I'm writing this post as a 21 year old. Getting old! Can't believe I started this blog when I was 16...
Anyhow, I'm going to wrap it up. Telling more in the next post about how life has been (you can already guess it, busy!) and hopefully you enjoy the new outfit post and forgive me for my extremely long absent.
Good night!

Ps. Noticed the new blogname? Finally found a new name, now just a new lay out. Wanted to change the name at the same as the lay out, but it's taking too long.

Monochrome

I know it's been a little while since my last post, but in the meantime I've been to London with my boyfriend and family to celebrate my dad's 50st birthday and this week my introduction at Amfi started. All exited things!
Things like a new school are always so nerve wreaking for me, which means that when a (small) thing goes wrong, I stress out big time. What happened yesterday evening, when I found out my registration went wrong and I didn't got all the information I needed. Solved it today gladly, otherwise I would go mad I think. I sure need to work on a way to deal with stress!

Anyhow, I got this wonderful dress from Darling a while ago. The pictures were already made somewhere in the beginning of this month, but as I have told, things were busy.
The fabric is so nice and the details are stunning and so cute! The name Darling does his clothes certainly justice!

Back from Lowlands

Early this morning I got home from Lowlands. I've had such a fantastic weekend. Lowlands is always magical and the highlight of my summer. The weather was tropical hot, which made it difficult to see acts during the day. In the evening the temperature in tents could easily get above 30 degrees, so imagine how it was by day.
Even though I didn't got to see many performances, I enjoyed myself a lot. We were having water fights, went into a 'maze' and ended under the main stage of Lowlands while dancing a burka, jumped in the water, because I couldn't take the heat anymore, copied my head and early this morning after the last DJ, we started dancing at tables with a lot more people.
The performances that I did got to see were great and I will tell more about it in a next post. Now I just need to stay awake, so I can sleep tonight. Sleeping only 3 hours in 36 hours isn't the most beneficial thing ever for my energy level.

This outfit was from about a week ago. Finally I can show my favourite Jeffrey Campbell's.

Though I know you'll never love me like you used to...

At last I'm done with editing new outfit shots. My boyfriend made these on the 2nd of August, so very recently isn't it.
Got this skirt a little while ago and it was a classic case of the doubts. It was so cute, but I thought it was rather pricey for a skirt. As you might have noticed, I got it. Thank Topshop, for being too good in making items. You make resisting clothes very hard for a clothes enthusiast.

Lowlands is near and I need to start preparing tomorrow and Wednesday. It's so hard to decide what to bring and what not. They say it's going to be warm, so I'm packing my matching swan print bralet and skirt!
Can't wait to see Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks, Santigold and Foo Fighters live!
