Lately I've been having a clothing crisis. I don't know what I want to wear, because I don't know what my style is anymore. Every time when I take outfit shots, I somehow start to create a sort of hate against the outfit and items... Which reflects in wearing the items less and less and the urge of buying new clothes grows. Let me tell you, it's bloody annoying! Physiological shit and all. Cursing isn't very ladylike of me, is it?
I need to find a way to break the circle and it has to be done very quickly... Personal style, where went thou to? This ginger needs thee!

Leuke outfit!! Ik vind je jasje echt geweldig!
I understand what you're talking about. I think it's currently happening to a lot of people, actually. When fashion blogging just started, the Internet was a place where people could show their individual style and maybe gain the recognition and feedback of like-minded people they lacked in real life. Now it's different, I see many bloggers wearing the same styles/garments, even if they used to have their own distinctive, original style. It's just that we see so many different clothes, styles, personalities everywhere that it's easy to get lost.
I've been reading your blog since 2008 and I was drawn to your style because you could mix girly with feminine and still look classy! (I am also a huge fan of your gorgeous designer shoe collection - any chance of some appearing in your shop someday?)
But style changes, just like the person wearing it! It would be weird if it didn't. In my opinion, style is simply one's personality reflected in clothing and accessories. When I'm in doubt, I always ask myself, what first impression would I want to create? Does my outfit reflect who I am? Is it "me" or is it someone else? It usually helps.
omg i love your blog, you always have amazing outfits, including this one, i cant believe it!
well the best way to get your style back is to look around on tumblr and other blogs for inspiration i think :)

Wauw super leuke blog heb je.. Ik zag je via Girlscene!! Ga je zeker volgen!! Liefsxxx
I love that skirt! Looks so romantic <3 I've got a similar one by New Look which makes me look like a fairy lol
I know what you mean about the getting confused about your style kind of thing. Mainly for me though is because I always want things that are in fashion simply because they are. Sometimes the best way to get back on it, is to ignore the fashion and focus on you again. You'll find your style at some point, so dont worry. If not, and you want to donate your wardrobe to me :P haha good luck with it though xx
you look so lovely! great outfit & hair <3
