Cake X 4

Recipes from Linda Lomelino

So this is a massive overload from pictures... Sorry about that, but I couldn't choose which one I liked better and I just wanted to show them all. I've been getting more and more into this culinary photography, so I'm trying to improve myself. Also baking cakes for photo's isn't too bad either! These were all just too good. Especially the blue berry cardamom cake, yumm.

Eitherway, my apologies for the lack of outfits. I really would love to post something, but I don't have the pictures. My photographer a.k.a boyfriend has been busy with some stuff, so we don't have the time to make them. Though we're trying to make them this saturday.

Winter Baking

Gingerbread cake with Sugared Cranberries through Call me Cupcake
Brownie cake with merengue frosting through the book Lomelino's Cakes (Trendy Taarten)
Baking really has been a wonderful thing to do for me and I'm seriously considering making it my job. That's why I did a pastry course 2 weeks ago to introduce me to that world and I really liked it. It's hard work, but that never stopped me doing anything (except when it comes to working out).

Anyhow, these are some things I made the past weeks. I made the gingerbreadcake last week, the winterwonderland cake for Christmas, the browniecake for a birthday and the macarons and chocolatechip cookies were one of the things we made at the pastry course. I'm a big macarons fan, especially from Ladurée. But geez, I really need to say these were almost as good!

I'm starting to begin to develop my own recipes, so I can start a baking blog. So perhaps in the near future I can show cakes that really are 'my own'.

Since a while I'm baking a lot and to get in the Christmas mood, I'm baking Christmas like things. A Christmas tree, a bundt cake and a pumpkin cake roll are some examples of them.

Now about the boots. I've been wanting to show them the whole past week. Sadly I'm low on outfit shots lately, because I didn't had the time or photographer.
