Little yellow dress

Every time when an important fashion person (or a lovely blogger) gets interviewed and gets the question: 'what item should every woman have in their closet?'. They almost always say the LBD, a.k.a. the Little black dress. I don't agree with that. I have several little black dresses and in some way I have a hard time combining them. I can come up with about 3 or 4 outfits, but that's it. That isn't the case with my LYD! My little yellow dress (ok, the colour isn't really yellow, but it's to keep it simple). I've already made up 9 outfits with it, but I can come up with way more outfits with this dress. I can't do that with a black dress in some way.

How would you combine a dress like this?

I so agree on the LBD thing! I have the exact same isuue with my black dresses. Loved all the yellow-dress outfits, and the red jacket on the first photo and the black fur jacket on the last photo are just amazing! I would pair it up with maybe some purple tights, I have a thing with yellow-purple combination. But I'm sure you'll find tones of awesome ways to wear this dress without my help, you always make up such inspiring outfits!

If possible I might put a petticoat underneath it. A waistbelt, victorian lace gloves, blacelets, necklace, cute scarf that matches the tights, vintage hat and not sure about shoes yet.
And your photos are the perfect example that a simpel (coloured) dress can be so interesting!

xx

Your "little yellow dress" is so cute, and it seems easy to combine it with other colours! Love this post (and now I want a little yellow dress!)

I don't know which makes me more jealous...

The fact that you are ridiculously good looking, or the fact you have a giant Peter Rabbit toy.
